The mountains and the sea give birth to all things; if they have a spirit, they are demons, and if they have feelings, they are human beings! Jiang Xun, a freshman majoring in mural painting at the Nanjing Academy of Fine Arts, has a crush on the teacher of his mural painting class. The teacher is unfairly treated, so he leaves his job and visits caves all over the country to restore the murals. One of the things he is interested in is the ancient book "The Classic of Mountains and Seas", which is presented in the frescoes. Jiang Xun and her teacher agreed that when she graduated, she would follow her teacher's footsteps...
